saving a life

My god sister, Julia, just called and told me an astonishing news. Her mom who is in China (shen yang) is in crucial situation in hospital. She has serious lung problem (part of the lung become hard and could not expand as normal people) for 15 years. A few months earlier this year, she got a bad cold which causes the disfunction of both lungs and as a by-effect, the lung problem now causes the heart and brain disfunction too. She is half unconscious now in hospital. The doctor says that in China, even the most modern techniques could not cure it. He also said that there was a child in our city got his heart transplant by the international Red Cross research center and was very successful. So I’m trying to reach as many people as possible for any information we can get to save her mom’s life. If you can help us in any way, please email me or her. Thanks a bunch!

dodo’s new world’s new layout is done.. i just sent out a newsletter sorta thing to my personal mailing list from visitors of my sites.. there are 190 subscribers.. kinda surprising for me to notice.. i can’t believe ppl would sign up at all LOL.. i wasted a lot of time on the new layout for dnw tonite.. but andy insists we take a walk outside tonite.. it’s sweet but i’m so tired :P i know i will go.. arr.. i dont know what was it but my computer suddenly restarted itself when the speed i had on morpheous went down to 0.76kb/sec.. so i didn’t resume it again afterwards.. i suppose that software is mostly like toasted. maybe i will try searching for another person sometime =P gotta take a shower and go outside and look at the moon.. nite everyone!

today’s windy and somewhat cloudy, altho sun is still around. andy and i went play pingpong this morning. he got me a very good and cheap paddle from this second hand sports store called “play it again”.. the paddle i got is actually brand new. it worked so well for me. we played for at least two hours. it was great fun. altho i was quite exhausted by the end, i still enjoyed the whipping around with my paddle. andy also got me a badminton paddle for seven bucks. it’s brand new as well. unfortunately all other badminton paddles they had was not good enough, we’d have to wait til next time to get andy one. then i can enjoy badminton again. miss that game so much.
i put up my first hack for b2. it’s a small but rather handy one. i finished the layout planning for dnw last nite. i’m gonna trying to get it up soon.. oh yeah, i’m downloading microsoft office 2000 from morpheous.. oh i only have about 1300 mins left LOL.. the one person i was downloading from before gave me a much better speed than the one right now.. i only got 1.2kb/sec.. but oh well, i don’t really care how long it will take, as long as it works after it’s done. i’m not putting all my hope on it tho. after all what can you expect getting free stuff =P
going back to work on the layout for dnw now.

going to frisbee golf, i finally remembered to email paul about the discreet structure book.. maybe i will get a good deal online.. i updated all the broken emoticons on my board by using MySQL syntax.. thanks to daynah for the tip on the syntax =) I didn’t know i am a mod on daynah’s board now i feel pressured to go there once a day.. just kidding.. i added her board to my link bookmark on my browser, now her board is a matter of click away isn’t that sweet? i’m gonna back up all the database for my board using the way daynah told me.. til andy got home from work to try out my curry beef
arrr.. ice cream truck is around again.. they can always make that song stuck in my head somehow.. i never went to the truck to buy ice cream before tho.. maybe i will try sometime..

today starts off a great day, i’m still excited about this new layout.. when i checked my email this morning, a lil cute gift is awaiting me. bobbi gave me a tiny doll of myself - 
. How cute! she’s so good at this. it really made my day let’s see what’s waiting ahead of me.. i added on mouseover scripts to my links to make them look nicer. my new hosteebunnywunny will be joining regretless soon. i’m can’t wait to see her new layout. yeah!
Credit Card Lost

i have to say yesterday morning something unbelievably happened. when i walked out the house, i saw a letter from my credit card company informing me there are unusual activities on my account that i will need to call them to confirm the charges. i felt suspicious. when i opened my wallet and looked for my credit card.. i jumped off my feet.. it was NOT THERE! right a way i called the company.. from what i heard from them, i believed i lost the card at international club last time when andy and i were at chicago. i couldn’t believe i didn’t even know that i lost it. numerous charges were added to the account afterwards. the reason they thought it’s unusual was probably because most of them are from chicago area and i live iowa. i couldn’t believe:
(1) i lost my credit card
(2) i didn’t even know about it
(3) my credit card company didn’t hold me accounted for those charges but instead informed me about the misuse
i thought that was pretty crazy but it turned out nice on my side so i’m happy 
i had to tell my hosting company to wait for my new credit card tho =P hopefully it will arrive soon.

installing b2 is a great fun.. meeting the author michel v is also a wonderful experience. i see bright future in this stript =) I really like it - fast, handy, very customizable. I will help the author improve this script.
