nap

i took a nap this afternoon after we got back from fresbie golfing. i slept for two and half hours. wow, that’s a lot. i always wish i can have a nap every afternoon. see that’s how i was trained as a baby. my grandma used to force to take a nap in the afternoon when i was young. i hated that back then. now i realized it all came back to me. i felt bad i didn’t take advantage of that back then.

do you like to take naps? americans don’t seem to train children taking naps. i know i had to take naps in kindergarden and sometimes in elementary school. in japan, i think companies pay their workers to take naps. doesn’t this sound like a dream?

Sis, don’t babies need more sleep though? hehe The older you are.. the less time you’re suppose to spend sleeping… well, it’s true when you’re 80 or something. :) I’ve been napping a lot recently… esp after work, i feel so tired sitting in front of a computer all day. = heheh I wish I could sleep at work like the Japanese too heheehehe

Heehee! I’m Chinese-American…I don’t remember being trained to take naps. We definitely had “quiet time” in pre-school and kindergarten, though. Mmm, naps are nice, but I usually take them to avoid doing work. :P

naps seem nice, but, i can only take them when i’m very sick. if i just take a nap, i’ll wake up feeling all tired and i dunno, it’s a weird feeling–and it makes me unable 2 function the rest of my day and i feel gloomy. so, i cant take naps ever–no matter how tired i am!

ahh… we should have naps in school =). or at least a quiet time of some sort. i’m always tired right after lunch, during spanish. and i LIKE spanish. sheesh. naps are good for you. in some countries, all the shops and such shut down once a day while everyone has a large lunch and takes a nap! ;-)

I’m American and I remember how we had naptime in kindergarten everyday, hehe. I dislike taking naps during the day though, it makes me feel wierd afterwards, lol.

My mom always made me take a nap during the day until I started kidnergarten. I hated it so much.

Now, I feel like I have to take a nap when I come home from class. I’m always just so exausted. I love naps. I tend to fall asleep with the TV on, so I have strange dreams involving whatever is on the TV. Hehe.
