toliet paper
i asked andy last nite if his college has parties and picnics. he said yes and he just had to read the toliet paper to find out when. i was like WHAT?! then he told me that his college puts flyers/calendar of school’s activities on the back of the doors of the toliet stalls. and they call them toliet paper. amusing. i wonder if any other colleges do that?
postive or negative teaching?
you know one of the key difference i find between chinese and american culture is the way you are taught. i didn’t get used to the “over” positive teaching in america the first time i was in a summer school. but now i’m of course adopted to it. and finding myself giving many more positive comments than negative. maybe you don’t know that i mean by negative teaching, let me explain myself.

dieting?
i’ve been dieting.. well kinda. i’ve been eating Budget bowls – those 11oz ones for all my meals. partly to save money for the upcoming trip to california too. but i get hungry so easily since i actually only eat twice a day (i get up like 10 or later). sometimes i can’t bear the hunger and i have to find snacks. that’s bad coz i want to eat less since i bearly exercise. sigh.. i’m hopeless 
next semester i WILL TAKE A GYM class. you know when i was in high school i never ever thought that one day i could have weight problems too.. it seemed then that no matter how much i ate, i never grow. that’s no longer true. and i realized how i’ve been spoiling myself. it’s not like i eat a bunch of snacks or sweets (i hate sweets).. but i just eat a lot. in quatity. like esp. when i’m at buffet. last friday when andy’s step grandma invited us to a buffet, i ate 2 fried cat fish and another plate of salad, mashed potato and stuff. and i wasn’t even stuffed full. i could probably eat another fish if i really wanted but i made sure i didn’t. it’s meals like those made my stomach grow larger and larger.
regretless advertising
what is everyone doing for the weekend? i’ve been working on regretless advertising.. i’m getting quite bored writing the script. it’s not done yet. someone please review the policies for me. i want to know if i’ve forgot to add something. thanks!

friday five
wow amazing. i’m actually remembering to do friday five this time
1. What is your most prized material possession?
i got a diamond ring from my grandma when i went back to china last summer. it was meant for my wedding i think but she was afriad she won’t have another chance to give it to me.
2. What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest?
hmmmmmmmmmmm, i really don’t remember a particular one but my shoes are really old. like three or four years old. i just got a new pair in case they broke which will probably happen any minute.
3. Are you a packrat?
i don’t think so except toward letters. i have to keep all my letters, postcards etc. i still have all the ones i got from my friends in china when i was in elementary school.
4. Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum?
clean.. as clean as possible.
5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
no money for a theme yet. just use the best deals.

andy’s brother matthias got ENGAGED this valentines day. what a great news. they started dating around the same time andy and i did. congratulations to them!

Asian Abuse
After three days of playing around, I think I can Asian Abuse finally started to look like something. I programmed all the features I can possibly think of for it. I hope this group will grow. I really hope it will bring warmth for those who need it. Because I KNOW how hard it is when you find no one to understand your situation and that you are all by yourself. I’ve certainly been through that. If i knew internet and knew such a group when I felt hopeless, it would probably help me regain confidence even quicker. i had to do it all with my own power. i felt lost for a long time.
on a brighter note, i’ve received a valentines gift from Rebecca. someone i totally didn’t expect. thank you so much! if my little contribution to the net made you happy, it’s very worthwhile.
i hope everyone’s doing their daily grind today! i will be putting up mine soon.
new chinese pop songs
due to some requests, i uploaded some more extracted chinese pop songs from my cd. they are here. You MUST “right click” and “save target as” to your own computer in order to listen to them coz geocities suck. anyway, hope you enjoy them. there were some requests about the lyrics. if i have time, i will try to translate some.
in addition, i found some chinese singers gallery.. awww i still think Vivian Chow has the prettiest face. she looks just like those anime characters. i say she’s been on quite a few magazine covers? and ekin cheng looks SO DIFFERENT when he has short hair compare to long hair. arg.. he needs to have LONG HAIR!
