Sis, I had that problem before… it’s probably the Smartmedia card… it’s getting old or something. What would fix it is if I reformat the card, then start taking pictures. Try that and see if it works?

Maybe write back to them and let them know that you’ve done the reformatting, and if you’ve tried another card, let them know as well? Sometimes ppl have problems but don’t bother letting the technicians know coz it’s too much hassle, so the problem stays out there and gives the company a bad name. Hope it’s still under warranty.

You may have to send it back to Fuji for them to fix. Do you still have a warranty on it?
