make a wish
I think I’m obsessed with this song. It’s zai zai‘s “make a wish”. *feel free to download it if you want!* altho his poor accent, *he can’t even pronounce “MAKE” correctly for god’s sake* i still like this song. much because of his cute appearance. he’s rather cute in my eyes. fits my taste for pretty feminine looking guys.. i think he’s the cutest among F4. but you know what, no one in F4 is truly talented. they are popular because of their LOOKS! i’ve seen couple interviews with them, they can’t even articulate. i think in chinese entertainment (if not all countries), there are two groups of celebrities. ones that acquire fame by true talents and others acquire it by cute appearance. it does take a lot more of effort to acquire fame by true talents and those who do should get more respect. but the truth is they don’t. i hate myself for doing this but i can’t help liking the cute appearance. my affection usually doesn’t last too long. talking about my obsession with Zheng Yi Jian =P

CHINESE google & feedreader
i didn’t know google has chinese search engine! for all this time, i’ve been using the crappy yahoo.com.cn search engine. DUMB ME! now perhaps i can find chinese websites a lot easier. but i wonder if google tracks sites hosted in china? anywayz, gotta love google. google is god. go check if google has search engine in your language or not!

WOAH not fair not fair.. remember HER? yea she’s the actress of the female main character in meteor garden now she’s got MY costume on in her new soap opera GHOST. seriously i’ve been wanting to wear that kind of custom ever since i was a child. whenever i watch gu3 zhuang1 xi4 and see those customs..i dream about myself wearing those. i never had an opportunity tho to wear any tho. and of course they don’t ever sell those on markets

OMG i can’t believe they have some of my favorite author’s books translated into English, the translation bites but it’s still worthwhile reading for the storyline. a patch of cloud is one of the first stories i ever read from her. YAY! all of her 50 novels have been transformed into movies or soap operas. i really wish i could see some of the really old movies, but most of them are out of print

my work schedule for the next five weeks is 8-6 monday – wednesday. I chose those hours because i get paid for half an hour extra for opening and closing the lab. this means i get a total of 33 hours for working just three days of a week. that sounds too good, doesn’t it? i thought so too. but now i start to wonder whether it was a good idea. basically it’s getting harder and harder to keep myself awake during work. i think it would be easier if i were to get up at 7:30 everyday. now i sleep in from thursday – sunday and trying to be on schedule for the next monday is hard.. i probably have a nite gene. another thing i don’t like about the schedule is that i get home the same time andy does, that leaves me very little time to prepare for dinner. i still want to cook but i need more time. esp. when i want to martinate the meat and whatnot. oh well i think i have too much complaint about a lazyass job.
my theme script
I’m so happy to annouce that I improved my theme script!! A girl bought the script from me and it doesn’t seem to work for her. I talked to kasper and he said it has something to do with the way the virtual container is set up for her domain. He gave me a new self written setcookie function and I was able to add it to the theme script and now the problem should be fixed. I know stacey was having the same problem as that girl. i set up a test folder on her domain, it seems to be WORKING for me Also in the improved script, you can apply different themes to many different folders on your domain. ff8 and kingdom hearts
we finally finished playing final fantasy 8. tell you the truth, i didn’t like the ending as well as final fantasy 9′s ending. final fantasy 9 in my opinion still has the best story line. i watched that ending over yesterday and i still felt like crying. ff8 ending didn’t make me cry. one thing i really liked about ff8 tho is the function. NO MORE 5 hours of level raising.. just 30 minutes of drawing. the battles in ff8 are SO MUCH easier. i didn’t bother fighting omega weapon =P. you really don’t get anything fighting him. i love the lion heart limit break. SO AWESOME! i found these cute dolls on this site. aren’t they cute?
so after ff8, we will go on to kingdom hearts! i left that game for months and months now i can finally pick it up. it turned out to be a big drama when i picked it up yesterday.
basically i remembered that i’ve already done the 3rd visit to transverse town. but obviously i loaded the WRONG game and got myself all confused. after i loaded the game, i couldn’t figure out why my ship didn’t have the warp ability and why phil kept telling the phil cup wasn’t ready. i was trying to do everything that should happen after you fought opposite armor but actually i even didn’t fight him yet. DUH! but at least andy used the time to modify our ship a bit. maybe i can level up some more today before he comes home. sora is at level 26, donal 25, goofy 30.
textism refer script
for those who loves textism refer script, it’s time to upgrade. version 2.0 came out and it’s completely different from version 1.1. it uses one database table instead of four (that always annoyed me). and it erase old logged referrals as it progresses so it keeps your database small. example mine. but there is no upgrade instructions on that site. here is my tutorial on how to upgrade. if you are doing a fresh install, just follow steps 2 – 10.
1. i hope you remember where you put stuff like:
= /home/pure/public_html;
include . ‘/refer/logfunctions.php’;
logit();
NOW FIND THEM AND TAKE THEM OUT!!
2. download the version 2.0 zip, unzip etc.
3. open refer.php and fill in the necessary configurations.
4. backup whatever was in your ./refer folder and delete them.
5. upload the files from version 2.0 to ./refer folder
6. run yourdomain.com/refer/setupdb.php
7. it should run fine if you got the configuration right for refer.php
8. do what it says on the setupdb.php
9. DELETE setupdb.php
10. CHECK to see if yourdomain.com/refer/index.php is working. If you see errors, you should post here
11. (optional) if you want to save your database space, you can REMOVE the old database tables. they are in your phpmyadmin and they are tables named: log_hits, log_pages, log_refers, log_hosts. JUST DROP THEM – this means you will lose all your old referral data but why you need them? *shurg*
if you ever screwed up really bad, i still have a copy of refer version 1.1 if you want it.
i added a small no comment text hack and a bug fix to the multiple more hack. basically all the no comment text hack does is to make b2 display something like “NO COMMENT” under the posts that has no comment instead of just leaving it blank. if you want it, grab it here
