It’s really sad to view that everything in China is now based on money and that people are corrupted, I can understand your teacher’s feelings. Personally I hate lying to myself and this always goes to contradiction with the others If you don’t “pai ma pi”, the others think you’re stupid, because it’s the only way to survive lol. Let’s hope that there will be an “in-depth restoration” of the Chinese society and economy *dreaming*
