Who is Dodo?

Dodo is the owner of pure-essence.net, regretless.com and a few other sites online. Dodo is a Chinese name; it means beans or peas. I chose this name as my online nickname because it sounds cute. And yes I know it means stupid in English and I don’t care. I have graduated from The University of Iowa with B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics May 2004. Now I’m working as a Java web developer for Rain and Hail L.L.C. I came to the U.S. when I was 12 without knowing much English. I was born in Shanghai, the biggest city in China. I can speak, write and read fluent Mandarin and I also can speak and understand Shanghainese.

    Dear Miss Dodo,

    How are you? I’m so happy that you have made a come back after a short hiatus. I am writing regarding an article you once posted on Dodo’s New World entitled “You Know its love when”. Some stuff that was on that article went something like this: “the first thing you think of in the morning an the last thing you think of before you go to bed is him/her.” I enjoyed it very much and I was wondering if you can kindly send me this article?     Wow! What a small world (wide web)! I used to go to Dodo’s New World all the time when I was a kid. I even had it at the top of my bookmarks. But it’s been a long time since then, and I haven’t gone there in a whiiile …

    Now 20-years-old, I’m browsing the net for more sophisticated code for my own website’s reincarnation and look what I stumble across! :biggrin:

    Well, I’m definitely glad to have “found” you again. Almost feels like running into an old friend, hehe :cute: I love your new style and I’m delighted at the opportunity to see how your creativity has developed.

    LOL I just found out you’re from Iowa City. xD I live just south of you in Ottumwa, Iowa. I found out from your twitter thing(on dodosmb) and just randomly came here. I also thought about transferring from Indian HIlls to University of Iowa, myself. I just don’t know what to major in, or what their programs are like. I’ve also heard that their computer science program, is more based on theory, than anything else. Is that true? D: It’s one of the majors I’ve been considering, but haven’t really decided. So hard to decide on a major. x:

    Dodo.

    I saw your email script on others sites and that brought me to your site. Is there a place that one can go to learn where to put everything in the right order on the script. While your script says I need form knowledge, which I have an elementary knowledge of. It has been a while for me and I am looking for a refresher or even a full fledged forms, and the back end for dummies.

    I am amazed at how many people are using your script here in Tampa I have been looking at people’s forms and it is all over. All these huge web companies with their big 10k+ sites and they are using a free scriipt, that so rocks.

    Any help or information would be appreciated.

    Ummm…nice website. I was actually visiting your old site regretless before I found this. I actually have a quick question. Is it possible to have an upload form with the dodosmail script and have it only allow like certain types of files?

    I been looking for a good e-mail script like yours but seriously hard to find one for some reason.
