registration test

i’ve been working on the new registration test hack since 6 in the morning. I put all the questions in the database and allow random arrangement of the questions to prevent trial on error kinda cheating. all tests are also logged with my database now. so i can track ppl down.. hehehehe…
andy’s friend mike’s pet was very ill last nite. 
it was a mouse. a cute little white one. mike was so sad so andy had to comfort and also help him to put his pet out of his misery. i got to watch discovery channel all day yesterday. i was at andy’s bro’s. it’s so fun. man, i miss discovery channel =P it’s the only thing i watch on tv.
i think i need to spend more time with andy today.. so…
secret santa

secret santa is going mostly well except some members didn’t get any gifts. i plan to start a general secret santa and allow ppl to make gifts to those who didn’t receive any at the end. that should be cool. i’m making at least one for every one of those =) everyone should get some gifts for christmas yeah? =)
yesterday i took that art history final. eeek. it sucked. i didn’t want to take a second look once i finished. i think i at least passed. that’s all i really need to do for that test. i’m taking that course as a pass or fail course. no more art history class for the rest of my life. next semester i’m taking:
- Computer Organization and Hardware
- China 1800 - Present
- Interpretation of Literature
- Principle of Chemistry
That will really suck. I will be so much busier than this semester. grr.. oh well, i suppose i dont have to worry about that yet. oh yeah, have i told you i got an A in my creative writing class? The teacher left only praise in my evaluation. gosh. i’m like his favorite student or something =P but that class turned out much better than i excepted. maybe i will take it again for extra credits =P
i’m pluggin stacey. her new layout is too awesome to be missed. unwavering.net looks awesome too. i need to learn how to do those vectors in ps 6. where can i find some tutorials?
quizno’s is so expensive. i went there and now i’m broke =P $6.49 for a sub. that’s not fair. i only went there coz toco bell has the longest line i’ve ever seen in my life. eek, my mouth smells like onions now. even with eclipse in my mouth. =P
hostee

two years of hosting, now you look at catherine’s page, that’s all i got. i don’t really care that she said that. except all my other hostees thanked me for hosting them while they go on to another host or their own domain. they treated me as a friend and respected me as a person. sad, isn’t it? i really didn’t know much about her. i first met her thru kimi. (jee how long ago was that!) she owned a cute ring much like kimi’s. and i only wanted host her ring. did she ask for permission to bring all her other sites on my domain? not i can think of. i don’t usu. nag my hostees unless i have real problems. it turned out her cam pages are eating a lot of bandwidth these days. esp. the direct linking of her cam. it’s everywhere. tell you the truth, i dont like that. but i kept quiet. she only talks to me when something doesn’t work for her on the server. that’s a pretty pathetic host hostee relationship i’d say. so i suppose i learn from that. will never host someone i’m not close with any more.
i left a message on her guestbook today. that’s the last time i will contact her. say bye bye!
new layout

so this is a bit unique huh? no green or red. only grey and xmas. i like this new layout. it’s cute and yet not to childish. I started to use brushes! One of the swirl is from bobbi’s brushes. it’s very pretty. i did watercolor filter on the puppy. the puppy is just perfect.
i FINALLY upgraded b2 to v0.5.1, i know the new version is coming out very soon. your info is now stored in the cookie. no more filling out when you comment 
i had a lot of fun programming for my cam today. i made a php script so it only refreshes when i’m on. i also did the archive script to make archiving A LOT easier =) i will probably work on a cam portal script and put everything together for public =)
i also added the funny images today.
michel just showed me this. LMAO!!!! another ignorant and pathetic person. sigh.. there are too many of those on the internet these days.

searching for a different host

i don’t know if i really want to move to a different hosting company. what phpwebhosting offers is still unbeatable in many cases. the best for me is after they move me to a different server, the frequent mysql downtime will go away. i really hope this will work out. i know daynah’s server is stable as far as i can tell. i will see if i can get moved to her server. god bless. go2search is offering unlimited everything for $1/month. sounds like a lie. i asked them how they made profit for charging so little. they claim they’ve in business for a year and have reached a huge audience so very profitable. huge audience? how huge? how come when i search for “go2search” in the WHT, i didn’t get anything? i started my my own topic about them. i will see what i will get, probably no results or something. no one ever hosted with them LOL. who knows.

man, my board always suffers from weird technique errors. another terrible stall today. it’s giving me
Can’t open file: ‘xmb_posts.MYD’. (errno: 145)
whenever i try to access the xmb_posts data table. That’s the only thing it shows me when I try to access it in phpMyAdmin. Meaning I can’t even drop it. I dont know where to start to fix the problem. I post on xmb board and phpbuilder.com. I hope someone out there knows what this error means. Coz I don’t even know where to start on this. eek.. this is so unfair! I worked til 2:30am this morning to get the first issue for the zine up. the first thing I wake up seeing is the stupid error telling me the board is stalled, no one can post or view posts. just too terrible… i want to scream!!!!!

I just found out what happened. My hosting company replied my urgent request in like 10 minutes. and they fixed the problem. It just blew my mind. This is THE FASTEST reply i ever got since i started using the company. HOLY COW. totally unexpected.

it’s 2am here.. my eyes can’t stay open any longer. but i did get the zine out on time or maybe it’s two hours late whatever. please go read it. It’s A LOT of hours of hard work. I think the articles are great =) as well as the art!

i wish andy will be home soon. miss him..eek. i need him to proofread my poem i will turn in tomorrow. my next online project will the DMB zine. time is running out FAST!!! i didn’t realize how close Dec. 1st is. MY GOD! I’d better start getting stuff together =P
