when i finished my daily task for the lab at work, i got on the internet and browser to my board. and guess what? i got this

this is already the third time things like this happened. i can not log in my control panel during this kind of down time. and i emailed phpwebhosting on their frontpage of the website and i never got a response last time i emailed. so today, i emailed jack since i know he’s one of the guy in there and i called the voice phone and left a message complaining about the situation. i’m gonna log in the control panel and write another complaint in my cp… gosh… i hate that.. coz so many sites on my domain depend on mysql!

i can’t believe i will have to go to class soon. i had so much fun hacking board again.. i added the annoucement and changed u2u from popup to just highlighted text. my stomach was making lots of noise earlier.. now i actunally don’t feel hungry any more. but i know i will need to go grr..
i was woken up by andy’s alarm early this morning and i couldn’t fall asleep no matter what so i decided to come to school early and continue to work on cs project since i was so unsuccessful last nite. unfortunate still nothin turned out to my favor this morning. i tried every possible way. i emailed the professor. i suppose i should check my email now. since i spent the rest of my free time hacking the board =P

told by sarah last nite. i’ve decided to install my own oekaki bbs today. arrr.. it’s so much fun! if you are a friend of mine, please register! i will have to approve you for you to join tho.. but the java applets for drawing are excellent.. look, i just drew cutest thing! go draw and get them saved and commented at my oekaki bbs!
btw, i got the image stealing problem mostly solved. the owner agree to either give me credit or take it off. i made a new one for him to put up and credit me with.
thanks for cutie comments.. i got a new mouse today with scroller for $6 at the computer show place.. cool! we are going back there tomorrow =)

fixing board

i suppose to do my cs project right now.. but i started doing the member status thing on my board and i didn’t want to let it go.. so you can see the member status for each post now.. i made those pixels, aren’t they cute? i also added the pinned pixel for the topped topics. what else? i want to work more *hehe* give me ideas.
i was frustrated earlier coz the person who request the layout doesn’t seem like wanting to buy it any more even tho she’s ok with the main design??! she just needs the font of the title to be changed and know where navigations will be. i told her i can fix those easily but i need to know whether she wants to buy the graphic first before i do anything more. that’s not much to ask right? i mean, how do i know whether she’s serious of buying or not without receiving the check first? it’s not like i haven’t been ripped off by people online before. oh well, i will use it for myself if i don’t hear from her in a week.

wrote my own guestbook

i’m so exhausted.. my back really hurts.. maybe coz i’ve been sitting in front of a computer for the past 6 hours straight.. arrr.. i finally finished my guestbook. thanks to daynah who lent me her guestbook code. but since i thought it might take me longer to figure her algorithm than just do it on my own, i wrote most of the guestbook myself. now it’s done. it looks so empty. will you be nice and sign it? This book so far is not for public release.. since it does not have an admin page.. i might work on it more so i can get it released some day maybe =PP
oh well.. btw, daynah, if you are reading this: i used your code as a basic outline. but i did things differently. i added:
1. number of page numbers show on one page
2. private message
3. view ip
4. a new variable in front of the table name - which allows multiple tables in one database
anyway.. that algorithm for the number of page numbers show on one page took me forever to figure out altho i’ve already done similar things in my simple gallery script.. i felt so dumb that i just couldn’t get it to work… oh well.. it’s all over now.. i’m heading home =)
strange netscape

i was working on regretless layout again.. coz i found out that my blog page is totally screwed up under netcape. the strangest thing is that since i include all the header for every single section at the domain, the code shouldn’t be different for one section from another.. and yet netscape somehow picked to be screwy only for my updates (first) page and looked fine in the rest.. so i had no idea where to start.. i played around with my menu.php (a file i included for all pages).. after trying many times.. it somehow fixed itself.. and i don’t have an explanation for why it’s now working.. is netscape strange or what?
you know what? i really need to work on a php guestbook for myself.. i’m so tired of editing megabook template every time i do an update… writing a php guestbook will probably be my goal for the next few weeks =) i was thinking whether i should do a converter or not for megabook to my new guestbook… if so, i will have my old entries saved, but if i do.. some of the entries are screwed up since they are from the older version.. so… i’m not sure.. i suppose my first problem is to get a working guestbook LOL

i’m a happy girl going to sleep.. i added the hack in my cp so that i will see the ip of the authors for my comments, i also reformatted all my dates so they show all dates in the way i want.. so i’m happy =) and hope your too.. nite nite!

do you have pictures to share?? daynah show me her 2 year anniversary photos.. daynah’s cute girl parrot girl hehehe.. she also showed me how to do web photo gallery using photoshop. i just didn’t like the fact that the thumbnails are in such low quality. but it’s very handy. for those who have photoshop, open it up and check out “file” -> “automate” -> “web photo gallery”.. very wonderful function for those who own digital cameras or love to take photos.

i was pretty pissed off this morning after reading this. This ryan has been telling people that he’s dnw staff (which is not true) and a member on my board to get people’s trust while harassing them. grrr… talking about annoying.
i finally put him on probation period before he’s banned from my board.. i feel sorry for those who helped him.. sigh.. he’s just such a selfish and mean person
