I don’t think I’ve never dressed up for Halloween and since we were invited to a costume party this year, I decided to give it a shot Found this cute lady bug costume.

Andy found a chicken costume. How fitting is that given he’s worked at KFC for 6 years. LMAO

My Lasik – the day after the surgery

Yesterday I had my Lasik surgery and everything went very well. I had to listen to the doctor and keep my eyes closed and at rest most of the time. I took a nap for four hours after the surgery. At first, the eyes felt a stinging sensation. It was rather uncomfortable but after I woke up, the sensation was pretty much gone. I had to apply eye drops every hour.

This morning I had my vision checked. Both eyes are at 20/20. They didn’t push any farther. Although when the coordinator left the room, I tried myself. I could also read 20/15 now. The only thing is that now I’m on the computer, I still have astigmatism like symptoms. The doctor said that is normal. It will take a few more weeks before that clears up. At this point, my vision will fluctuate from time to time. That is just the normal recovery process. My vision will continue to improve. I should get my best vision in maybe 6 weeks.

I’m eager to take a walk outside tonight to see how my eyes respond to night lights. That’s something I had trouble with even with glasses. Before the surgery, my eyes were at about 20/400.

Found a new home & printer

Pure Essence was sponsored before and the sponsor died so I moved it to hostquack.com. So far I’m very happy with the support and server speed. I can tell a huge difference between the new server and my old. I hope the new home will be a lot better. Pure Essence had suffered a lot of down time due to running out of bandwidth and server down time in the past months. I hope it will be up 99.9% of the time as hostquack.com guarantees

On the other hand, we bought a printer!! Brother MFC-7840W Laser Multifunction Center with Wireless and Ethernet Network Interfaces is our new and FIRST printer. We bought it from Bestbuy for only $200. We never owned a printer before. It obviously is inconvenient from time to time. Now we’ve got a laser network printer that may act as a copy machine & fax machine. It almost feels like being spoiled. Hahaha!

After we purchased the printer, I did a little more research on it. I was surprised to find that we got an awesome deal (even without Andy’s employee discount since it was on sale) and the reviews for this printer are very positive. Hurray!

OK, I just signed up facebook. ADD ME IF YOU KNOW ME? I know it’s so late and it’s pathetic. But I’m not that much into all the online communities. I tend to stay inactive. But I’m really excited that I was able to find a few lost connections from high school and college on facebook. Maybe I will stay on there longer now
