yeah, i finally found time to upload all those photos we took four days ago..

do you have pictures to share?? daynah show me her 2 year anniversary photos.. daynah’s cute girl parrot girl hehehe.. she also showed me how to do web photo gallery using photoshop. i just didn’t like the fact that the thumbnails are in such low quality. but it’s very handy. for those who have photoshop, open it up and check out “file” -> “automate” -> “web photo gallery”.. very wonderful function for those who own digital cameras or love to take photos.
first day back to school
August 27th, 2001
only went to the first class.. i figure i really shouldn’t have eaten breakfast since now when i have to eat (buffet like) i dont feel hungry at all. i guess i don’t usu. eat much when i’m home alone in the morning during the summer.
so far everything seems normal. i was very happy to find out that i will still have access to the lab during the restricted hours as a lab monitor.. woohoo.. get to surf during work LOL
i will attend an interview for a webmaster job tomorrow at this Hydraulics Laboratory. that guy is really nice, he told me to call the secretary once i got to the building and he will come and get me LOL
awww.. more people signed our anniversary page, lauryn even blogged about it.. how sweet of everyone!

Hey poo, APC was fine. As I guessed we had a quiz. *snore* Then we started talking about non linear function. He let class out so that I could write you before Psychology. =) Did you realize that the email you sent last week about mike you said that you saw him at “toba” bell. I about died laughing. I don’t know how the heck you misspelled taco with toba but it was cute. Something more for me to chide you with when I see you again! I can check my email after 12:10 so you can write me if you really really want to!! I am recoiling from the oatmeal. Feels like I have thirty pounds of food moving through my intestines. I feel sorry for whoever will use the restroom after me, he he he. Ok, time to go now. I love you!

ryan’s pretty much out of my head now.. he’s banned from most of my places.. thank to those who supported and left messages. i’m working on a secret page for our upcoming anniversary. i dont want andy to know.. so i can only work on it while he’s at work. hope i will have it done by tonite so i can ask friends to sign the guestbook.. kiss everyone! back to work 
lab day

i came to school an hour earlier to get the pink slip my advisor said he would leave for me in the advisor center mail box. after i got that i ride the bus to downtown trying to get some food before work starts. unfortunately unfamiliar with the bus route, i missed mall by couple blocks. after i walked in the business building i work at, it’s already the time for me to open the lab. so it left me the only choice to buy some food the diner on the first floor which i did.. it’s really expensive and crippy food. sigh… at least i won’t need to be hungry for the next 6 hours so i guess that’s good. andy has an early class today. a composition class from 8:00 – 8:55am.. then he will have to go to kfc to open the store.. poor andy.. he has such a tight schedule.. he has to work 41 hours while being a full time student at the community college.. sigh…
andy’s first day at school

today’s andy’s first day back to school. i’m so excited for him. he gave me a ride to work before he went to school. we have breakfast together.
i was so suprised to get his email for so long.. i guess from now on, i get to get lots from him yeah!!

Well, APC went well today. I like the teacher, he is to the point and humorous. Psychology is coming up in an hour. I really felt nervous when i got into the classroom. First time since 1998. When the teacher started to go along i just religiously took notes on everything since I had forgotten so much about math, but after a while I felt very confident in my ability to recapture these elements he wishes me to utilizefor his class. The parking was super bogart, I was lucky to find a great spot eventually. I find now that getting here early can certainly help the parking situation. I had not anticipated so many people would be clogging up the lots. As I walk around I see many familiar faces from high school. None of them seem to recognize me or care. I don’t really care either. It is just my nature to never forget faces and names. Cannot find much to do to spend an hour here, forgot my book *_* doh! I was sitting in the front row in my math class and just about sneezed the stack of syllabus papers onto the floor. God I hate allergies. There are so many smokies hanging outside the doors. Every step outdoors is a secondhand nicotine fit waiting to happen. I will have to develop a non-breathing technique to protect myself. So odd here also is to see a collage of old and young in these classrooms. Some people 50 and older in the same class as me. Strange. I need to remember to bring a water bottle with me too. I don’t want to hunt down drinking fountains all day. I guess you can have drinks in this computer lab. A guy behind me just opened up a mountain dew and drank right in front of the lab monitor. What a bogart. If you can’t tell I miss you and am bored waiting for my next class. Just sent you a little surprise. Will probably show up before this email does. Oh poopoo. I’m gonna go now. I love you.

how sweet!! i love your email.. it’s so fun and in detail hehehe… counting.. how long haven’t i gotten an email from you? woo hoo.. now i get to get so many of them yeah!! i’m so happy. i went to the place where they sell bus pass, they told me “if you are a student, the price for the pass is $88 today but on Monday it will go down to $68.” how strange.. but i guess it was an easy choice. i said i will come back on monday then. when i went to burge to get my meal plan, i found out they raised the price!!! they changed all the plans.. the only one suits my need is the $100 for 20 meals (regardless of time).. but then i have to go back every time after i finished 20 and purchase more.. how annoying!
i’ve surfing the official site of my favorite author. since i emailed the web master on qiong yao house yesterday, they told me about it. it’s really not as good as qiong yao house except it does have some news that’s written by qiong yao (almost diary like) to tell us about how all her soap operas are being developed.. and how every of her actor and actress are doing and stuff.. some of them are amusing.. but it gets kind boring after a while..
i found songs from her old movie back in 60s on qy house site. i’m pretty happy i get to listen to them.. coz i’ve been reading them (the lyrics) and never had a chance to listen to the song.. arr.. i guess your class is already started? i must not have gotten your email on time..

saving a life

My god sister, Julia, just called and told me an astonishing news. Her mom who is in China (shen yang) is in crucial situation in hospital. She has serious lung problem (part of the lung become hard and could not expand as normal people) for 15 years. A few months earlier this year, she got a bad cold which causes the disfunction of both lungs and as a by-effect, the lung problem now causes the heart and brain disfunction too. She is half unconscious now in hospital. The doctor says that in China, even the most modern techniques could not cure it. He also said that there was a child in our city got his heart transplant by the international Red Cross research center and was very successful. So I’m trying to reach as many people as possible for any information we can get to save her mom’s life. If you can help us in any way, please email me or her. Thanks a bunch!
Credit Card Lost

i have to say yesterday morning something unbelievably happened. when i walked out the house, i saw a letter from my credit card company informing me there are unusual activities on my account that i will need to call them to confirm the charges. i felt suspicious. when i opened my wallet and looked for my credit card.. i jumped off my feet.. it was NOT THERE! right a way i called the company.. from what i heard from them, i believed i lost the card at international club last time when andy and i were at chicago. i couldn’t believe i didn’t even know that i lost it. numerous charges were added to the account afterwards. the reason they thought it’s unusual was probably because most of them are from chicago area and i live iowa. i couldn’t believe:
(1) i lost my credit card
(2) i didn’t even know about it
(3) my credit card company didn’t hold me accounted for those charges but instead informed me about the misuse
i thought that was pretty crazy but it turned out nice on my side so i’m happy i had to tell my hosting company to wait for my new credit card tho =P hopefully it will arrive soon.
