dodo on vacation wallpapers

hi everyone! i’m at the lab right now. i just printed out a bunch of pictures from my digital cam section using the color laser printer here so i can take them to china.
For those who will miss me, I’ve made some wallpapers for you =) I’ve taken a bunch of webcam pictures this morning and made them into these wallpapers. Hope you will like them =)

this will probably be my last post before i get on the plane tomorrow @ 7:40am. wish me good luck! now i am kinda nervous.. mainly i will start to feel the pain leaving andy :’( i suppose i get to hear his voice on the phone once a while. the trip will probably keep me too busy to think. i will visit my old classmates, relatives, even friends i met in US. i will probably shop a lot =)

yes got our pictures today!! i don’t have a scaner so i had to use my digital camera LOL. click here for a bigger version. the picture you see on the left along with the picture in the middle of the bigger version will be the ones i will send around. so if you want a copy and haven’t given me your address, leave a comment, i will email you if i know you =)
yesterday i had a terrible experience at the wal-mart vision center. so i went there to pick up the photos today and also to report to the vision center supervisor about what had happened. the cashier was just rude beyond belief. something like that really effects your mood. glad andy’s bro them called later to go and play frisbee golf. that was fun =)
i joined the AAdvantage today to get my flying mileage credited in my account. it’s quite a few miles for a round trip to china =) andy’s aunt told me to join for possible discounts on future airfare and other benefits with this “frequent flyer club”. she said if i have enough mileage, i will be able to get a free ticket. *hehe* i thought i could use that for daynah’s wedding. 
new dress

we went to williamsburg - an outlet mall today. i got this $10 dress from GAP.. andy got a pair of jogging pants, a shirt, a pair of pants PLUS a pair of jeans for me all for only $15 at old navy. yumm.. we also got other cheap stuff. good shopping day =) i dont usually like dress that doesn’t allow me to wear bra under it.. but this one looks rather good on me *points to the webcam*
i think i’ve been lying. i actually leave on july 3rd not july 4th. i found that out last nite.. i will arrive in china on july 4th so i got myself confused =PP my plane leaves on july 3rd 7:30am!!

andy’s such a sexy babe.. check out his new outfits. only spent $18 for the shirts and shorts together.. doesn’t it look awesome on him? i took a picture of him and put him on the sexy beach mmmmm…. *hehe*
i guess that is the lighter part of the day… our apartment lease sucked.. they called us a day before we sign the lease to tell us we are not qualified for gov’t subsidies for the apartment. we either have to go back to the waiting list for the 2 bedroom or take a one bedroom available for normal market price which is $437. that’s too much for us. we have to continue for our apartment hunt see if we can get gov’t subsidies elsewhere and we might not be able to find one. the stupidest is tuition is NOT SUBSTRACTED from your total yearly income but IS TAKEN into consideration when they want to evaluate you for “long term obligation”. basically it’s like: we consider tutition as a long term expense when we see if you are qualified for housing or not, but we do not consider tutition as a long term expense if you want money from the gov’t. so before they were telling us we didn’t make enough to make our long term obligation. all the sudden after i made the fake verification from my dad for giving me $350/month and after they asked andy’s boss to verify andy’s weekly income, we jumped from not able to fulfill long term obligation to earning too much for gov’t subsidies. WTF?!
arrg.. don’t want to talk too much about it.. we already had enough.. so i probably won’t be online much.. *shurg* it’s life i guess.

thanks to ecila, i downloadedconquerCam. it’s 10000000 times better than webcam32 in my opinion. you all gotta try it out. i feel it makes my cam have better picture quality too. hehe.. i added today’s cam archive. i wanted to make ecila a fan sign but it’s too bright in the room, my cam just can’t see the words i wrote on the notebook with black marker (stupid huh, i need to get my dad’s cam) so i just put on the caption and gave her a kiss 
i’ve never really listened to NIN very well.. andy’s playing it, i actually like it a lot.

ok so i’m FINALLY here to show my easter pictures. i could never get the pictures of my eggs to focus ;_; even after i tried so many times, i only came up with this. like i said, it’s my first time coloring eggs. i wrote some chinese on the first egg and drew flowers on the second and third. andy’s got some weird creativity that day.. i don’t think i want to show you his eggs (as we already ate two of his this morning) well, he drew the easter bunny getting shot on one of his eggs. XD
i was quite terrible playing jokes on people yesterday and having a fun time. thanks for all the critism. i’m sorry you couldn’t put away seriousness and got mad at me LOL
i called andy at work when i got home and started with this sad voice
“andy, my mom’s here.” complete silence for couple seconds, then
“WHAT?” by then i knew i got him HAHAHA.. “WHAT do you mean she’s there?”
“Well, I don’t know how she found out where we live but she was waiting at the door so i had to let her in.”
Silence, “OK, just wait, i will come home right a way.”
“hmm, you don’t have to..”
“HUH?”
“HAHHAHAAHHAA”
“………oh, this is one of those april fool’s, isn’t it?!”
anyway, more easter pictures here and i will be working my mastering chemistry and study for my computer hardware exam on thursday. OH YEAH, andy’s FINALLY gonna ship his guitar to this appointed place by Gretsch. Gretsch is so terrible. keep pushing away their responsibility for weeks. we are gonna watch “best in show” tonite. i watched most of it in my literature class and thought it was REALLY funny. so i rent the dvd for us to watch tonite =)
in case you haven’t noticed, jessi’s got an awesome new layout up. it’s sooo simple and yet so nice looking. made me totally speechless. i dont know how she can come up with such design. another unbelievably talented girl wendi have some new layouts up too.
rascal’s birthday hat

have you ever seen a dog putting on a birthday hat? hehe.. that’s what we did to andy mom’s dog, rascal today. he’s so cute. he’s so hyper too. the hat didn’t stay on him too long and unfortunately we didn’t take the camera with us.
andy and i went to his mom’s for his belated birthday party. we watched the BigTen champion game. it was a very good game. hawks did very well altho they lost. i’m still proud of them.
andy’s brother, his gf, andy and i all played bingo. his mom offered some cute gifts. and i won three times YAY!!! i got a hello kitty binder, a cute flowery organizer and a bottle of olay lotion. andy’s got some other toys. his mom can’t stop giving him those LOL. did i mention about his can cooler? and andy’s got a surprise from his aunt: a $1900 check supposed from his deceased grandma. lucky him. but that’s not even enough to pay his tuition for the next year, he will still have to work hard.
one thing that’s really cool/cute is this electronic wheel. if you it on, it’s like you are driving a race car. you can press gas, brake, or turn left, turn right, honk, shift etc. lots of fun =)
friends in china

woohoo, my best friend in china emailed me. altho i couldn’t read her chinese for some unknown reason. i still got her picture. look, isn’t it so cute? it’s her baby picture =)
the classmate message board is so hot. i’m surprised how often they actually replied. new message everyday. that’s much better than i expected. around 17 of my old classmates are there. arrr i’m so happy.
btw, i upgraded to b2 v0.6pre =)
