everyone’s registering for next semester already.. i still can’t.. logs in isis and sees “You are not authorized to register until 03:50pm on 04/28″ damn.. i can’t wait to have Calc III on my schedule XD HAHA yeah rite.. but i will probably take it. the tentative list right now is

Programming Language and Concepts is one of my major required classes but when i looked it up, one of the sessions is taught by the my CS II teacher who i really hated, the other session doesn’t even have an instructor yet. ARRG.. i might just sign up for the one without an instructor. hopefully they will get a better instructor than the one they had this year who is a foreigner and no one could understand him =P
summer job

i’m going to apply for this summer job, but i have couple concerns. i’m still planning to go back to china this summer for two weeks, i don’t know if that would affect the summer schedule. i told my boss at the computer lab i will work for the lab again this summer that coz i’m really not expecting to get the new job. i mean i don’t really have that much experience in that area, i would like to. they claim they provide significant training, but how much is significant. nevertheless i got a transcript today. the only thing is i don’t know how to write a cover letter. help anyone? gotta search for some templates.

just bought this sweater from Younkers for $6.40 and I thought it was an awesome deal. That’s all the good news I guess. I was reading the local paper today,some stupid australian dude mass emailed UI students. arrg… just pisses me off. may all spammers die in the world. 
and i’m tired… so tired and i have to take the stupid chemistry exam tonite from 6:30pm - 8pm arrg. andy didn’t finish his homework last nite so he got up early to do it and woke me up. i only had 6 hours of sleep
now i need to go study my chemistry exam before i flunk it
computer test

the computer organization and hardware test was so easy; it was almost pathetic. and before i went into the room i heard some guy said “i was studying for it until 3 this morning and i only had three hours of sleep”. i was like jeez christ.. i studied it for like half an hour? coz i knew it was gonna be easy. but the teacher still managed to surprise me for giving out something even EASIER. i’d better get an A. i can’t believe there were people taking the ENTIRE hour to do their tests and still had the fearful look on their face. jeez.. what more did those people want?
since the class was supposed to be two hours long and the test only took one hour, the teacher went on and talked about more hardware stuff. he started writing “ROM & PLA” on the board. the first thing popped in my mind was “ROM and People’s Liberation Army” HAHAHAHA… and i really had an urge to say it out loud when he asked what “PLA” stands for. *evil grin* it turned out it stands for “Programmable Logic Array”.. yeah, whatever that means hehhee..

well, since this is my first blog, i’m sure i should have something profound to say, but I really don’t. Albatross! There. I am at my mid session break in Calculus, suppose I should go back. “blech”
Just printed out 4 copies of my Comp. paper. 80 PAGES!!!! I feel like I am carrying a novel around in my folder now. This had better get passing with distinction on the first submission, cause I don’t want to have to print it all out again!!!!!!!!
working on softlead

i’ve been working on softlead’s layout. here’s what i’ve got so far. the little graphic at the upper right corner changes for each of the seven categories. i’m planning to use layering effect to subcategories. i don’t know if they’d like the home button. it’s kind of out of place. i can easily taken it off if they don’t tho. i emailed phi yesterday telling him about the flash part, he hasn’t responded yet. i dont know what’s going on?! maybe he’s on a trip or something? i hope to get his response so i can continue on the project.
i feel so sorry for juju, she drew something very pretty at my my oekaki earlier but the stupid script overwritten it. aww… it did the same to bobbi’s but luckily there was an animation file so i restored it with a screenshot and photoshop.. but juju’s… ;_; i hope she saved it… cry……..
chemistry test

i just check the score (38605), i ended up getting an A on the chemistry test. after he fixed the answer key, i only missed four problems and that’s 95 percentile on that exam. and my overall percentile is 92 which is also an A. i can’t believe it. i guess i’m not that bad after all.
we are going to the mall today!! i just called the mall for its hours. what’s up with the answer machine now? mall hour is not priority any more? it told me first, for emergency, press 1. then if you need the theatre, call this, if you need science station, call this, if you need a list of the stores’ numbers, press # and spell out the name of the store with the keys. i felt like i waited for 5 hours until i hear what to do to find out the mall hours. and after i pressed one key, it even asked me to press another to get to it. gosh…
i was reading lele’s train ride back home last nite. gosh, what a trip! can’t believe there are still racial prejudice in public transportation.

it doesn’t feel like it is.. coz i didn’t do very well on the chemistry exam.. i was crying last nite.. i dont know what’s wrong with me.. i know i shouldn’t have missed two of the problems coz it was just totally stupid of me >< i didn't read the question well enough. then i think there's something wrong with the answer key, coz i'm pretty sure i have the right answers for three of the problems.. but it told me no. i emailed the professor and haven't gotten a response. grr.. i just don't know what to do now.. i worked so hard on it.. i might end up with a B again ;_;
spring break is really no break for me. i gotta start on the softlead project. i also work at the lab mon - wed. and plus my book report..
i took a picture of andy this morning. he was writing down notes from the net about his new song for his guitar (his acoustic one) and he looked so serious, it’s almost funny. so i took the picture. i realize his eyes were so blue. his eyes change color constantly =)
i finally skipped chemistry today.. i’m so sick of it arrg.. i don’t understand what’s so hard about it either.. i did so well in high school.. why can’t i do well here..
anyway we are going to have buffet today hehe.. then i will go to work tonite. tomorrow i don’t have to work YEEPYY.. so i will have to call my dad to tell my mom not to call the lab tomorrow and i DON’T want to go back to china next week. =P

just finished my modern china test.. i almost didn’t make it. i wrote so much for the last essay, i didn’t have time to write my conclusion. i guess it was ok. it didn’t say it has to have a conclusion.
also if you are interested in chinese history (coz it’s so exciting =PP), i found these three non-fiction videos from my teacher. i think they are excellent. China in Revolution (1911 - 1949) Mao’s China (cultural revolution 1949 - 1978) Born Under the Red Flag (1989 tiananmen square incident) they have a neutral narrator and then combine with interviews of people who DID go through that part of the history. it’s very realistic and you get to see both sides.
i’m gonna study more for chemistry now =)
