early morning
December 8th, 2001
i woke up at 5, didn’t fall asleep since. i’ve been thinking about dnw. perhaps it’s time to get a more mature audience. so far i think i should combine regretless and dnw. take out the childishness of dnw and leave the useful info in regretless. ppl visiting dnw are just too young to appreciate the hardwork. they expect too much. first your site has to be perfect, then you as a person has to be perfect. i’m tired of that. it distresses me and i think there is no reason to work any harder on it. i refuse now to look at it. i will leave it til winter break. my finals are coming any way.
finally got some news i can look forward to. got a reply from my hosting company a while ago:
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that the move (to another server) will be done this weekend.
I’ll send another update then. No data will be lost - both account will
be active at the same time and all your “old” files will still be
here. I’ll also try to get you refund for this month for all the trouble.
Greg
Greg is so nice. I feel like he’s treating me as a friend. sigh… not many ppl can do that. that’s perhaps one of the reasons i stuck with php despite of various bad experiences from other customers.
it’s nice to hear andy’s light snore in the early morning. give me a bit of dreamy feeling. i rolled up the shades in front of my computer a little. i see an empty street and green grass. arr.. grass are still green. this winter so far has been so nice. no snow yet. did you get any? i don’t think i really like snow except i’ve been wanting to sled. then that’s not the most important. if it snows, it will be so cold walking between classes. i like it this way. don’t snow til school’s over =)
i got my work schedule for winter break yesterday. i calculated I will make nearly $600 before my trip to florida. that’s good =) at least i can purchase the tickets for both andy and me and allow some more spending over there. we decided to ride greyhound, it’s still the cheapest way of travel out there. i’ve ridden couple times before. it’s very uncomfortable but hey with the money it’s saving, it’s worth it.
i’m babbling. i feel i haven’t done such long babble for a while.
