my first poem that makes me proud

Although I’ve written numerous poems before, I never truly thought any of them were good. But this morning I jumped out my bed because I was so inspired and the words were pouring out of my head. I couldn’t afford to lose it.
Fling
Beauty
on the other side
of the road.
It was you
shining through.
Air
full of twinkling stars,
blowing away
my fatigue
and dirt.
Embrace me
with your godlike
bosom.
Never before
had I been drunk
with flowers
on my cheek
tainted pink
and light
scented.

I received a package from Financial Aid Administration today. I have qualified for a PELL grant that will be worth $2,000 per semester for Fall and Spring!
To give you a reference on how major this is for me, my tuition costs are only $1,000 per semester. They are paying me $1,000 to go to school every semester!!!
I am so happy, it makes me very desperately wanting to get into that Training Center for the fall, but even if that falls through, I will still take classes, I only have education and money to gain!
