i was talking to daynah in the chatroom and she demanded me to update my blog.
i was struggling with my cs homework earlier. grrr.. recursion sucks! #3 on this homework. I just don’t know how you pass back three pieces of infomation with one function. c++ can’t return an array or anything. maybe i can pass by reference, but my brain doesn’t work well with recursion =P
i was also looking at my discrete structure test answer key. I took the test this monday and i wasted my time on the stupidest arithmetics. i thought (-3)^0 was -1 and later i somehow thought 3+3=4. so i didn’t have time to check my work after i finally figured out #8. i found out i did 2(c) wrong, that seemed to be the only mistake i made. i forgot log(n^2) is 2n log n. i thought it was n. grrr.. it was LOG not LOG BASE TWO.. DUH!! i didn’t feel too bad. i probably wasn’t able to figure that out even if i had time to look at it =P It just wasn’t clicking in my head. oh well.. i think i will probably lose at most 5 points on a 108 point possible test. so not too bad. i still think i was pretty stupid for not figuring that out tho.
oh yeah, i finished my non fiction today. i will ask andy to read it tonite. it’s called “second language”. it’s about my english learning experience. you can read it too. click.
hi I am glad to see you experience of learning english .So I want to study with you.Would you like
Demanded? What? I just nicely asked you to update it…. hehehehhe
*looks at hw assignment* Make you wonder how much you forget things when you don’t use it anymore… I remember doing this kind of stuff in my sophmore year…. um.. 3-4 years ago… and no i’ve forgotten everything. 😦
3+3 isn’t 4 sis, it’s 9. 🙂
Yay.. your paper is online… me go read!
Sis, I just finished reading your story… wow.. sounds so much like me. I was put into ESL when I started school… 1st grade… and it lasted til the end of second grade. I still had to be in class with the regular students, but then we get like 2 hours of ESL, and I had to go to another room. I loved ESL!
weird, why don’t you need to go to ESL? i thought you were born here?
Being born here doesn’t mean I can speak English…. My parents didn’t know much English.. so for the first 6 years of my life, I only talked in Vietnamese… Gosh, I heard some videotapes my mom had… and I had a strong Vietnamese accent back then… lol
I read your ESL story and I enjoyed it. Many of my friends are Korean and had the same difficulties as you. It is interesting to know other peoples views on the same topics!
thanks shay =)
Your welcome Dodo! I just wanted to say I LOVE your sites too! When I make one someday, I’ll come by to show you XD
