i have this strong impluse to buy a better webcam coz mine REALLY sucks. i hate it so much. it’s a I/OMagic MagicVision USB and look at all the ugly pictures it came up with. i bought it for $45 at office depot and i suppose to get a $20 rebate but never did. so i’m looking for a better one. webcams are getting cheaper these days.
lele said hers is the Intel Pocket PC Camera which is one of the five top rated webcams at yahoo. the good thing is it comes with light. that really got me interested since one of the problem i have with my cam is that it gives very dark pictures at nite eeek. but it seems to be expensive at yahoo. i’ve also looked at D-Link DSB-C300, the one daynah uses. it’s cheaper. bobbi‘s cam looks nice. she says it records sounds too.. which is quite attractive. but then i found this top rated Logitech Quickcam at yahoo for only $13.95. but i dont know anyone who uses it.. i dont know how good it is. i’m kinda stuck >< any ideas?!

I don’t know much about webcams. 😦 I just borrow the one my coworker has hehehe All I know is that it’s a D-link C300. It’s not bad, but I saw it advertised for about $60 online.

I have a philips cam and it makes nice pictures 🙂 My gf has a samsung one and it seems good as well…
Anyway, even if your webcam makes ugly pics, you look pretty 🙂

I use Intel Easy PC Camera CS110 that my brother gave me for Christmas. I think it takes pretty good images. Why don’t you check? It’s on my website, under webcam.

i have to say.. the quality is quite good… i can even take pretty decent pictures at night when the only light in my room is my desklamp and the computer :D… hahaha

I have intel pocket pc camera, you can take a look at the pictures at my site under my pics, except the one on top that was taken with a sony digit camera…..or you can go look for a digital camera it’s much better webcam…give it a thought….if you use it for conferencing…then webcam is the best way….
hey babe! i use a logitech quickcam, it’s wicked. takes great clean shots and movies. it also has a built in microphone, it’s spiffy.
I wouldn’t really recommend the logitech one. I had one.. and the quality was poor in my opinion. Always remember that you get what you pay for!! Don’t wind up with another bad cam that you’ll end up hating in the longrun! Make it a worthwhile investment! 😀
i agree.. i think i will not go with the logitech.. i don’t like the little color dots on the images.
I’m in the same pedicament. I need a good camera (doesn’t have to be perfect) which is easy to use and is under 30$$
i use a logitech quickcam web…it’s not bad, but it also depends on how much of an investment you want to make.
my budget is under $100 so i can go with a better one.
I have a Philips Cam. It records sounds too and you can make videos and stuff. But the quality of the pics etc could be better, which means I don´t recommend Philips, unless you want to spend a little fortune. 😉
I have an Intel Pocket PC Camera. It’s really good and great for webcams!
