computer test

the computer organization and hardware test was so easy; it was almost pathetic. and before i went into the room i heard some guy said “i was studying for it until 3 this morning and i only had three hours of sleep”. i was like jeez christ.. i studied it for like half an hour? coz i knew it was gonna be easy. but the teacher still managed to surprise me for giving out something even EASIER. i’d better get an A. i can’t believe there were people taking the ENTIRE hour to do their tests and still had the fearful look on their face. jeez.. what more did those people want?

since the class was supposed to be two hours long and the test only took one hour, the teacher went on and talked about more hardware stuff. he started writing “ROM & PLA” on the board. the first thing popped in my mind was “ROM and People’s Liberation Army” HAHAHAHA… and i really had an urge to say it out loud when he asked what “PLA” stands for. *evil grin* it turned out it stands for “Programmable Logic Array”.. yeah, whatever that means hehhee..

wow, cyn‘s new layout is so yummy!! smack smack!

i’m a cheer bear

  1. Don’t you love it when you have easy tests like that!?

    Grrr this computer is so sloowww I wanna go home so I don’t have to wait 15 mintues for a page to load. grrr…

  2. I wish I could say that class was easy when I took it. I studied til morning too and got very little sleep. o.O? I didn’t like that class too much. My brain didn’t really want to learn the hardware side of things. Oh well.

    Well, looks like you’re going to learn about PDL’s (Programmable Logic Device). You’ll get to program the little roms and proms soon. 🙂 What does that mean? Well, we had to create our own “Cash register.” We had to program our LCD’s in a way that it would add up prices ranging from 0.01 to 9.99. It was difficult but really neat! Other projects you can do is controlling stop/go lights. Or even creating robots. 🙂 Fasinating stuff. hehe

  3. I agree with daynah~ I wish tests were always easya for me. @_@ Well then again, I don’t study. >.>;; but I still manage a pretty good mark. ^^;;

    Ah, IS hould start programming! @_@ The last new thing I learned was visual basics, and I’m forgetting. @_@!!!

  4. i once had a java programming test in university. It was darn easy too.. even though I didn’t learn more than 2 hours for it

  5. *aah* you’re so lucky your test was so easy- I wish all tests were like that!
    Good luck with the result- I’m sure you did perfect!
