did you ever start a fire?

on the way to andy’s step grandparents yesterday, we were talking about if we had started a fire when we were young.

i certainly did.. one time when i was 6 or 7, i was lighting some paper strips on fire in my dad’s office. at first with the small ones i could easily blow the fire out.. but then i lit a big paper strip, i couldn’t blow the fire off and it burned so fast, i finally had to drop it and guess where it landed? in this huge waste paper basket..

the fire started in the plastic basket so strong.. i was panic and didn’t know what to do.. i was scared to put out the fire by stepping inside of the basket, i didn’t want to burn my foot.. i finally found this bucket of water and just poured it into the basket. by then the basket was badly damaged. the water leaked all over the floor. at least the fire was put out. i could have burned my dad’s office down.

  1. aww dodo πŸ˜€ thats so cuuute! fortunately i’ve never done anything like that … i would have had an epilepsy or something (look it up lol once my teacher told me i was going to have one)

    one time when i was 8 ish i was pretending to be an ice skater and did like some sort of axel in the air and fell on my face and popped a baby tooth out and almost broke my nose. i am so clever… lol

  2. oh my…. my mom never let me play with fire… um.. not even use the stove til i was much older. heh.. knowing me.. i probably run lol

  3. Much worse Dodo, you could have burned yourself down. {{Dodo}} Thank goodness you came out ok. We just had a little child burn his room and himself with it. Scary.

  4. O_o scary!! where did you suddenly find the water bucket? Normally they don’t stand around in each office, don’t they?? ;D *j/k*.. seriously that was a dangerous adventure, dodo -_-;; thanks goodness nothin happened

  5. My parents never let me touch matches/lighters when I was little;
    “Leave that alone, don’t you know that’s poisonous??” So I never had an accident with fire, but I cut myself a lot

  6. Thank God for the bucket of water is all I can say… I had to chuckle tho… me and Laurz did very nearly the same thing in her wood shed when we were knee-height. Hmm… I haven’t played with matches since. I singed my fringe on a lighter tho. I’m definately NOT a smoker!
