Andy got up 7am to help his mom cook and decorating the “party room” to give me a surprise party. It was nothing fancy; just people from his immediate family. We always have this kind of gathering. It makes feel very special and lucky to have andy in my life. Here’s a poem he wrote me for my birthday.

You’re 22
It seems like only a blink
from when I first met you
You’ve changed a lot
to be who you are
From the girl I approached
crying in her car
My heart was open
and yours was too
In that very moment
I suddenly knew
I would do anything if
I could to help you
Smile and laugh and
be the wonderful you
Whom I look at and smile
everyday
Because you make me feel
loved in every way
