Hallo – nice theme – but how do I get the frames to work? the post on frontpage just have blues background.
each frame is a blog post with a different post format.
how do we get the different style/different colored frames? I, too, just have the same blue showing up.
I get it. Each type (gallery, sticky, quote) has a different frame. Gotcha.
How do I fix the twitter feed? I just downloaded this theme, and there is an error with the twitter widget. Thanks.
twitter feed is not a part of this theme. look into your plugin’s support for help
hi, where can i see a list of shortcodes that i can use for this theme? i am having trouble posting an image with frames.
there is no shortcode. just post format.
sorry. i need instructions on how to post gallery like http://regretless.com/oriental/?p=555 thank you
again not unique to the theme. check out http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-create-an-image-gallery-in-wordpress/
Is there a way to make the sidebar 200px? The Instagram plugin/widget won’t read correctly without. see http://crafting-a-life.com/mamaoknits. Everything else is working BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you so much. It’s a lovely theme!
you could in your theme options -> custom css add this:
#page {
max-width: 1206px;
}
adjust the width accordingly to your need. but note wider than 1106 makes the footer look bad. layout is really designed for fixed size.
you could remove the curve image in the footer by doing:
#colophon-widget {
background-image: none;
}
AH! I understand. I need to try to edit the widget, then to remove those number boxes. I didn’t like them anyway and want to reverse my stream and the pix of followers. Brilliant! Thank you!
I am creating my first website on WordPress and I’m using this Theme. I love it but I cannot figure out how to use the frames. I cannot even find them on my WordPress. Is this something you could help with. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi! Nice work!
I just wonder why I only get background color when I choose the post format “Gallery”, frames doesn’t show. Otherwise, all the others seems to work very well.
there is no frame for gallery. if you have a featured image for gallery, it will look different.
Thanks, great theme. But the theme’s png images (birds, dotted line and post frames) are not showing up in IE8 and IE7. I have tried ie7-js (https://code.google.com/p/ie7-js/) at the end of head in header.php but not working. Can you help?
The problem is not due to the png images but that IE7/8 doesn’t support multiple background images via css http://caniuse.com/multibackgrounds
Hi,
Thx for this awesome theme!
I am trying to get it working with WordPress 3.6 and the widgets do not show under colophon sidebar. They do show there under “widget settings”, but always appear underneath all posts instead of the right side (third column).
Has this not been upgraded or am I doing something wrong?

I am using the cute frames theme…I also only have boxes, no actual frames and seem to be missing the birds on the wire across the top. Would love some feednback please… thanks!
Hi all!
Does any of you know how to make a blog button using “cute frames” image on it.
thanks!
For those who want to make the images show up in IE, you may look into this http://www.chicowebdesign.com/blog/2010/10/21/updated-jquery-multiple-background-plug-in/
I don’t plan to support this in the theme by default.
Last question (I hope) I’ve widened the page as you said to try (above) just to see if it would help, but the sidebar keeps “breaking” –it doesn’t matter what order I put the widgets in, something keeps going wrong. Is it that the theme doesn’t like Java? And the Colophon doesn’t seem to understand where/how to order the columns. On my laptop screen it keeps shoving the item all the way to the left–past the edge of the screen.
?
Thank you SO MUCH–I love this theme and want to make sure it looks good for you as well as for me!

I need to add a logo to the header.. how can I do that?
Hi Dodo,
I cannot get the sticky note to work. Which format is it suppose to be? I tried each one and it does not show the pink frame with hearts. Thank you for any help you can give me!!!
Your post needs to be “featured” to have the sticky look.
Hello. The frames stoped showing since I upgraded to WordPress 4.1 .
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks,
Felipe
