photos of new home

like i mentioned before, we bought a new mobile home. it’s a 16×76 2000 Schult manufactured home. it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. altho preowned, it’s in great condition. the couples who bought the home were both retired. they added much to the home that made it better. they had to sell it because the husband was having health problems and they needed to move closer to their children. the home has 6 inch walls. 10 inch insulation on the roof. it’s very well insulated. from what we heard, its utility bill is not much higher than what we pay for our apartment. we are quite pleased with the home in terms of its condition and price. before we move in, i took a few pictures of the home. they are up now πŸ™‚

    1. thanks donny πŸ™‚ andy’s graduating the coming weekend. unfortunately we won’t have time to finish moving by then.

    1. supposedly it can move. but in truth, no one moves them unless they are brand new. they are just like regular homes but with only one floor and you have to rent the land it parks on.

      1. Wow, that’s interesting.

I’m curious to see one actually being dug from the ground and moved because it looks quite big…

Anyways congratualtions! It looks like a nice place πŸ™‚

  1. dodo it looks great! I’m so excited for you. We are currently looking for homes again… hopefully we can find a 4BR 2BA home with a basement… in a good school system… *crosses fingers*

  2. oooooooh dodo, it looks so innovative! Does it means that there’s no foundation, but since it’s only one story, I guess it doesn’t matter much does it? But if there are tornados maybe you will get a free move to the land of OZ or something. I like the shed, very cute, like out of a story book!

  3. Wow, congrats! It reminds of the garden house we used to live in, which was much smaller though. But it is very cozy to have everything on one floor, i think you’ll have a great time there!
